"JUST WANNA DANCE"  

VIA BARCELONIA, is the new pop dance group put together by the multi-platinum, chart topping songwriter, ANDREW ALLEN.  The name ”Via Barcelonia” derives from a utopian idea of "World Music meets 2018”. That is, a rhythmic driven culture - a worldly name, a different language, a utopia.  

VIA BARCELONIA aims to create a new generation of dance music, borrowing world music sounds from the deep rooted past and incorporating new school sounds and pop sensibilities.  

The lead track, “Just Wanna Dance” is an introduction to the group and a prelude of what is to come in 2019.  Andrew and his writing partner will be working with different musicians, producers, DJs and other creative people to help add to the project’s World/Global vibe. Via Barcelonia capitalizes on Allen’s large fanbase, but also allows him to widen his Adult-Contemporary radio audience, to listeners at the CHR and Hot AC radio format.
