Country music standout Chris Young has done it again, truly. After creating his 10th Number 1 single on the music charts of country radio with his hit, “Losing Sleep”, he has yet another hit ready to load. His latest single, “Hangin’ On” is looking to climb music charts yet again, as the tune is one of “my favorite songs on the record” Chris says.
The homegrown Tennessee local spews excitement with his newest single, “It’s just got so much energy. It was so much fun getting into the studio and really building the track that goes with this one– it’s a melody I am sure everyone will be dying to sing along to.”
Written by Chris Young, Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge, the new song is now the second single debuting from Chris’ recent album Losing Sleep. The song tells a story of Chris falling madly in love for a girl that he just cannot get enough of where he is “hangin’ on” to what seems is the love of his life.
The undeniably catchy chorus goes on to sing, “Yeah, I’m hangin’ on hangin’ on / to every word you say / every move you make / I’m hangin’ on hangin’ on / wondering what’s up next girl, I can’t wait / ain’t nothing like spinning you around the room / where everyone can see / you hangin’ on hangin’ on to me”.
With Chris already having 10 No. 1 hit singles, there is no doubt that this song is destined to be Chris’ 11th hit single– with the lyrics telling a love story of a life-time and a chorus it would be hard to not sing-a-long to, we just have to wait and see if another one of his catchy tunes will climb the music charts.
“It’s a fun one to play on tour and I love hearing it when it’s actually in its finished state, with what we left the studio with,” said Chris.
