Leaving Thomas Release Their Debut Single                          'Waiting Kind of Girl' on Dec 25th 2016

November 28, 2016; – MDM Recordings Inc. (MDM) announced a new addition to their award-winning roster. Leaving Thomas, a Calgary-based energetic contemporary country duo, Annika Odegard and Bryton Udy join the MDM team, signing a 3-year licensing deal. The band debuted their first single, “Waiting Kind Of Girl”, to Canadian country radio on December 25, 2016. The single is available worldwide on all digital platforms now.

Shares Mike Denney, President of MDM, “When I first saw them online, I was instantly impressed with Leaving Thomas. Their infectious chemistry, strong harmonies, and fun, playful style just drew me in. This signing is an ideal complement to our roster of outstanding artists.”

Infectious energy, raw honesty, and unconventional musical style define 'Leaving Thomas’ musicality and their natural ease of their performance on stage. “Waiting Kind Of Girl” features Udy’s outstanding guitar playing, which complements Odegard’s sweet-sounding vocals powerfully describing the trials and tribulations of a turbulent love. Singer/songwriters (and best friends!), Odegard and Udy teamed up with producer Spencer Cheyne and recorded the new single at Alberta-based OCL Studios. The single was co-written by Odegard, Udy and Christopher O’Neil.
