The Mudsingers are a band of brothers who currently live in Mount Albert, Ontario, but are originally from Montreal, Quebec.
Mudslingers:
Ryan Connolly Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter
Jarrod Connolly Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter
Rounding out the Muddy lineup is Leo Gray, a veteran guitar gunslinger with years of experience, and the epic bottom end of bass master Darold Vander Ploeg.
Ryan and Jarrod have been playing and writing together since they were 13-years-old and have never stopped searching for their musical identity.
At the production helm of this brilliant musical work is Oscar nominee, Paul Carroll of Private Records.
“Smile On The Radio was the first song I wrote after my dad passed away, and the first verse is all about him. Well, specifically how he spoke about my lovely wife Nancy Carroll. In fact when times were hard for him he used to take me to look at cars that he could never afford – his favorite happened to be a white Cadillac convertible. Ryan didn’t know that when he got the car for the video shoot…Anyway, so this song is all about Nancy, and my dad’s kinda in it too. Hope you love it. Nancy’s smile on your radio.” – Paul Carroll
“We are the Mudslingers. We use country to tell our story and Rock to break the chains…you mix the two together and you get some Mud..then we Sling it. SMILE ON THE RADIO signifies the purity and goofiness that love brings to our lives. It makes us uncontrollable in a sense..and what the song truly does is make me smile…and Victor Borge stated….”A smile is the shortest distance between two people.” The world can use a whole lot of smiles right now.” – Ryan Connolly
“I’ve got to get your smile on the radio,
I’ve got to get you riding with me,
I’ve got to tune your love through in stereo”
The time of the year is for a Smile On The Radio!
