"This video is truly beautiful. i can't put into words how amazing it feels when your favorite band supports those of us in the lgbt community, but also makes such a beautiful video of not only those of lgbt, but people of color, disabilities etc it shows the hatred of this world that we are all the same, that #LoveIsLove and despite all the flaws we see within ourselves we are #PerfectlyPerfect" @x.kidinthedark.x
"I hope that everyone has someone by their side who finds them perfectly imperfect. I'll Forever be thankful for Simple Plan's songs, they are all so meaningful and beautiful" @Lizy KIM

'"Perfectly Perfect" is about being in love with someone and seeing only beauty in every part of them. Even the parts they don't like about themselves. People tend to focus too much on their so called flaws. Like when we see a picture ourselves, we always comment on the thing we hate or can't stand about ourselves, when in reality, nobody really notices that stuff. Especially when you love the person. All the little "flaws" become things you that make you special and different.
Most of us in the band are now married or in long term relationships and this song was definitely inspired by that. For me personally, the song really reminds me of my wife. I know she had plenty of things about herself that she doesn't like. That she would like to change. But those are all the things that make her who she is and why I love her.
The song was co-written with our good friend Tom Higgenson from the Plain White T's and with Canadian writer/producer Ryan Stewart. " - Pierre Bouvier
The track is the follow-up single to "Singing In The Rain" and "I Don't Wanna Go To Bed," the latter of which climbed to the Top 10 at both AC and Hot AC, and Top 15 at CHR!
