The Bad Guy
JUST ANNOUNCED: Meghan has been nominated for FIVE Country Music Association of Ontario Awards: Female Artist Of The Year, Single Of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, Video Of The Year and Fans Choice!
Check out “The Bad Guy” - the brilliant second single from reigning CCMA Female Artist of the Year and SiriusXM Rising Star award winner Meghan Patrick's sophomore album, Country Music Made Me Do It!
It is the follow up to her biggest radio hit yet, the Top 5 smash “Country Music Made Me Do It.”
The single is accompanied by an incredible video directed by fellow 2017 CCMA award winner (Video Of The Year) Stephano Barberis (Dallas Smith, Dean Brody, Gord Bamford).
Meghan explains her vision for the video and why it meant so much to her, “We really wanted to do something different with this song. I think the use of the colors and the intimacy of the close up shots portray the emotions of the song and make it feel very real. This song is one of the more vulnerable songs I’ve written. Sometimes people think that just because you’re the one who left, that it doesn’t hurt, but most of the time it really isn’t that simple.”
