NEW SINGLE & VIDEO BY CCMA NOMINATED JESSICA MITCHELL
“MAYBE IT’S ME”
Singer-songwriter Jessica Mitchell is in the midst of an incredible year – from the critical acclaim of her debut LP Heart of Glass, a large-scale, cross-country tour with Johnny Reid, to nominations for CCMA Awards for Songwriter of the Year and Roots Artist of the Year, the unconventional breakout act will soon take to the stage at the CCMA Awards in Hamilton for an impactful performance during the live televised broadcast on September 9.
An impactful, emotive single from the LP, “Maybe It’s Me” is set for release on September 5, alongside the corresponding music video, which showcases Mitchell’s powerful vocals and thought-provoking lyrical brilliance in a heart-breaking, beautiful scene of emotional turmoil.
Often celebrated for her songwriting capabilities, Mitchell will be joining country star and songwriter, Dean Brody, on several of his east coast acoustic Dirt Road Stories tour dates this fall. Immediately following Mitchell will set out on her first-ever solo tour dates across the country beginning November 14 in Calgary, and the run will include iconic venues such as The Great Hall in Toronto. Truly a diverse act, Mitchell has previously toured with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Ron Sexsmith, and Royal Wood.
On October 1, Mitchell will also join country icon Terri Clark for a special performance at City Winery in Nashville, and on October 3 she’ll take to the stage at Cambria for her first solo appearance in Music City.
