This follows the song’s incredible streaming success since its release, earning over 1.9M global streams and leading the way for everything that is to come from the Season 2 SONGLAND-winning artist.

Growing up surrounded by music, her father a touring musician, and her parents owning a live music venue, Madeline Merlo was destined for a career in music. That destiny would soon lead her to Nashville to fulfill her dreams.

The songstress delivers her best work yet showcasing her songwriting chops and her killer vocals with her new EP ‘’Slide''. The title track, written by Merlo with Zach Crowell, Jerry Flowers, and Sam Hunt has been an instant fan favorite off of the record. Although originally developed for Hunt, the writers knew the song would be better from a woman’s perspective. Merlo was clearly the right woman for the job with her ability to write with a unique perspective that worked perfectly for this song.
